About Bob

A Family Man.

Bob met his wife, Teresa, at the North Carolina Republican State Convention in 1977. Since then, the Crumley family has had an active involvement in political and public service. Bob and Teresa have been married for nearly 30 years and have two daughters.

A Leader in Law.

Bob received his law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law and has practiced law for over 20 years.

In 1989, after practicing law within private industry and government, Bob founded his own firm, Crumley & Associates. Starting with one office in Asheboro, Crumley & Associates is now the largest consumer-based law firm in North Carolina with 10 staffed offices throughout the state. People throughout North Carolina have come to recognize Bob's mission to help people at some of the most difficult moments of life by providing the very best legal service through caring, communicating, and managing.

Bob Crumley is more than just a lawyer; he is a businessman who understands the concerns and needs of North Carolina's business community. As a licensed real estate broker involved in commercial and residential real estate development, and through an environmental restoration firm, Bob's companies balance the demands of a growing state while preserving our natural resources.

A Leader in his Community.

Giving back to the community is an important principle that Bob and Teresa have stressed to their daughters. Bob is an active member of three Boards of Directors throughout North Carolina; these include The North Carolina School of Government Foundation (formerly the Institute of Government), the Executive Board of Leadership North Carolina, and the North Carolina Aviation Museum.

He has previously served on the boards of directors for the Piedmont Triad Partnership Foundation and the Randolph Community College Small Business Advisory Board. He has previously served on a state licensing board and a statewide commission.
